At Amazon, our vision is to become the most customer-centric company on earth. Achieving this goal requires maintaining a safe and compliant store for our selling partners and customers. A key way we do this is through knowing and verifying our selling partners and their businesses, payment instruments, and other relevant information.
This role is part of risk-based verifications within the SPIV (Selling Partner Identity Verifications) team, which will focus on identifying and removing sophisticated bad actors involved in identity and supply chain abuse while protecting good selling partners and their businesses. This is an IC (Individual Contributor) role requiring both Mandarin and English language proficiency. In this role, you will drive a challenging new roadmap to improve Seller experience by removing the bad actors and reducing their impact proactively. The role has its own case load for investigating emerging risky behaviors and resolving high severity escalations. You will collaborate with multiple teams and own goals to detect bad actors before they bypass our risk detection mechanisms and attain a selling partner status. Your ability to influence people will drive your success and so will your attention to detail. Some qualities we are looking for: you are obsessed with mitigating fraud before our customers are impacted; you are results-oriented (and have a track record of repeatedly delivering great results); you are a problem solver; you operate well in an ambiguous environment; you are willing to solve really complex problems. You have relentlessly high standards for customers and desire to be a part of a team looking at long-term goals. In this role, you will work closely with the legal, business, product, operations, science, and engineering teams.
Sound understanding of Program management, Compliance, Six Sigma green belt/black belt is a plus.
