**Description**
**POSITION SUMMARY**: The Senior Sales Representative (Sales Rep) owns the end-to-end sales cycle,including
pipeline development, management, pitching, and building partnerships. The Sales Rep serves as the main customer pointof-contact from sourcing and initial conversation through contracting. They will successfully understand market
dynamics, customer needs, and the Thorne suite of B2B product offerings, with a concentration in the OneDraw Blood
Collection platform and additional health testing offerings. This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions.
**RESPONSIBILITIES ** Satisfactorily performing and/or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties of
the job.
* Consistently meet/exceed aggressive monthly sales objectives and revenue quotas by demonstrating experience in
selling and closing large, complex, cross brand transformational solutions, and driving end-to-end solutions which
cross individual special product lines.
* Create a plan to achieve greater market penetration and revenue objectives through scheduling appointments and
making preplanned sales presentations to customers, servicing customers, and delivering in-service presentations to
educate office personnel.
* Develop customer and product focused presentation packages that effectively communicate Thornes vision and
offerings to the market, as well as sales proposals and sales contracts while navigating a multi-decision-making
environment.
* Execute on the growth plan by independently developing prospects within an expansive network of contract research
organizations (CRO), pharmaceutical companies, and health institutions.
* Manage an active pipeline by driving the sales process from identifying and qualifying new sales prospects sourced
from internal and external leads, cultivating these through the corporate sales process, and managing deals through
contracting to closure.
* Establish and maintain strong trusting relationships with customers by ensuring timely and quality follow up to
resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction.
* Work cross-functionally, particularly directly with the Executive Team, Business Development, Product and Science
to achieve the common goal of bringing focused, meaningful, and prioritized feedback from the field to help shape
strategy and business practices that target a specific region or demographic.
* Reach and qualify high-level decision makers, overcome objections, uncover needs, guide conversations, and convert
qualified conversations to second level appointments for our clients.
* Develop and maintain sales forecast and other requested reports and submit to management.
* Actively participate in required training and development programs and electives as suits ones needs, and support
colleagues, trainers, and management as appropriate with these efforts.

**Experience and/or Education:** Bachelors degree in Biology and Physical Sciences, Math, Health, Marketing,
Business, or a related field required. Eight (8) years of experience in medical device sales. A strong grasp of best
practices regarding developing sales funnels and executing all facets of the sales process through closing, and postclose follow up and upselling. Experience working with/presenting to company executives, decisions makers, and
physicians. The ideal individual will have a background in sales account management, new business development,
and has sold a product or service to physicians, researchers, or scientists. Valid drivers license and acceptable driving
record.
