What you will be doing: As a Senior Salesforce Developer at EP, you'll oversee making sure our systems don't just work-they work beautifully, for everyone. From our clients to our Porters, you'll help us build a platform that feels intuitive, human, and easy to use. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead the charge in evolving our Case Management System, making it even better at supporting our team and delivering top-notch service to our clients. It's all about keeping things smooth and client-focused.
- Work closely with the people who matter most-our team and our clients. You'll translate their needs into smart, user-friendly solutions on Salesforce that help everyone succeed.
- Design and build custom features that feel tailor-made for the way we work-whether it's new workflows, custom objects, or automations that make life easier.
- Connect Salesforce with other systems that make our jobs easier, from CRMs to other systems of record and beyond-creating a seamless experience that feels effortless.
- Keep security top of mind, but always with ease of use. You'll set up access controls that protect sensitive data while still being user-friendly.
- Lead the charge on data migration, making sure we carry over what's important from legacy systems without missing a beat.
Key Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Development:
- Develop custom Apex classes, triggers, and workflows to support business processes.
- Customize and enhance user interfaces using Lightning Components, Visualforce, and other technologies.
- Experience Cloud Development:
- Design, develop, and customize Salesforce Experience Cloud portals to enhance client interactions.
- Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Lightning Components, Visualforce, and other UX technologies.
- Customization and Configuration:
- Customize Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validation rules.
- Implement Salesforce best practices in coding, security, and system integration.
- Data Management:
- Assist in data migration efforts, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Develop and manage data models, relationships, and reporting structures.
- Collaboration and Project Support:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Management, IT, Finance, Legal teams and external Salesforce implementation stakeholders.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design sessions, and code reviews.
- Maintenance and Support:
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce applications.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases and leverage new functionalities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- 2+ years specializing in Salesforce Experience Cloud portal development.
- Proven development experience with a focus on front-end design and user experience.
- Proficiency in Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Visualforce, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and front-end frameworks.
- Strong experience with Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce's server-side development.
- Integration Experience: Knowledge of integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Design Skills: Ability to customize and design user experiences within Experience Cloud.
- Certifications Preferred (but not required):
- Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II.
- Additional certifications in Salesforce Architecture or Administration a plus.
