Job DescriptionSenior SAP Sales Executive - South JOB SUMMARY: The Senior SAP Sales Executive at Argano will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new customers and working collaboratively with SAP to sell software and services. The role is focused on building relationships with prospective customers, uncovering business opportunities, and closing new revenue. This role will be measured on quota attainment of sales of professional services, application management services, and SAP software licenses. This is an important role within the Argano 4 SAP team, driving strategic initiatives and managing key client relationships. This position requires a deep understanding of both business and technology services to provide comprehensive solutions to clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect, qualify, sell, and close new business to net new and existing customers.
- Manage and nurture key client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and customer references.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Understand each customer's value drivers, technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy, and competitive landscape.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within assigned territories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.
- Develop and execute sales plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth through demand generation, pipeline and opportunity management.
- Promote Argano's brand through the SAP ecosystem, social media, and by attending local events.
- Create and maintain relationships with customer/prospect key stakeholders including C-Level and VP and above executives.
MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION:
- College degree, MBA a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5-8 years of related experience in professional services and software sales, ideally S/4HANA or an alternate tier one ERP.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and closing deals.
- Experience working with SAP Mid-Market team is a plus.
- Software selling experience required.
- Experience working with and coordinating selling activities with pre-sales and software demo teams
- Experience selling data integration, analytics, and digital transformations a plus
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships.
- Have an established SAP network
SKILL REQUIREMENTS -
- Sales Acumen: Ability to meet and exceed targets. Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to navigate complex sales cycles that could include management consulting, organizational change services, and multiple SAP applications solutions in a design, build, run offering.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
- Strategic Thinking: Develop and execute strategic account plans that link prospects business drivers to SAP's offerings and Argano's capabilities. Drive revenue in accordance with an annual plan including software revenue commitments jointly developed with SAP.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Ability to effectively present SAP product and Argano services value propositions to qualified customers.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients. Collaborate with internal teams to provide effective solutions. Develop and maintain relationships with SAP Account Executives and Sales Vice Presidents.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to close deals that are mutually beneficial. Ability to handle objections and resolve conflicts.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to evolving market conditions and client needs. Willingness to learn about new SAP technologies and services. Continually demonstrate a high level of knowledge about SAP's products and Argano's services.
- Problem-Solving: Identify client challenges and propose effective solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs. Provide feedback from field experience to internal sales leadership regarding product, selling, and competitive matters.
- Organizational Skills: Deliver accurate yearly and quarterly forecasts tied to business objectives. Properly capture monthly, quarterly, and annual booking values for assigned territory in Argano applications. Ability to organize sales meetings and develop associated communications internally and with prospects.
