This position offers a unique opportunity to play a critical role in managing project scheduling for a high-profile tunnel project. Join our team and contribute to delivering excellence in project management and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining schedules within P6. Role Accountabilities:
- Evaluate and improve scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy; may include developing procedures, instructions, and/or guidelines that facilitate the two-way flow of cost and schedule information.
- Contribute to specified elements of the business planning and budgeting process.
- Manage and ensure that the Baseline Change management process is followed.
- Lead the qualitative and quantitative schedule risk analysis.
- Proactively identify schedule risks and lead teams to identify mitigation strategies tominimize potential delays.
- Develop bid evaluation schedule criteria and prepares bid evaluations.
- Ensure that schedules meet with the Project Requirements. Review, evaluate andimprove schedule quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gatherinformation and ensure accurate representation of project timelines.
- Monitor and report the critical path and schedule performance of the total project.
- Identify performance variances regarding actual versus planned results and recommend corrective actions to better align planned and actual results.
- Prepare monthly schedule updates, narratives, and reports for management and client.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- At least 10-12 years' experience in construction project scheduling and project controls, at least five (5) of which are on highly complex or large (>$500 million) projects, with 5-8 years of direct hands-on experience as a scheduler, specifically using Primavera scheduling software.
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience in analyzing schedule claims.
- Strong communication and collaboration experience with clients, vendors, and diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
