POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Scheduler is responsible for advanced scheduling,
project measurement, and analysis for Construction, Engineering, and Commissioning and Validation for our projects. Will manage multiple projects varying in size and complexity to ensure that they
come in on time and budget. Work closely with Project Management and Field staff to create and maintain schedules and perform risk analysis and mitigation to support project teams in executing
successful projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure schedule has complete scope coverage, identify potential scope growth, and ensure allowances and contingencies are appropriately used. Utilize industry benchmarks and internal
historical durations to validate the quality of the overall schedule.
* Consulting with project managers and technical experts to create, update and analyze CPM schedules; recommend workarounds and schedule improvement ideas to regain schedule slippage.
* Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
* Evaluating performance against schedule and preparing project progress reports.
* Facilitates multi-company interactive pull planning sessions with and implements a last planner system.
* Communicates schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports.
* Work closely with key stakeholders including engineering, procurement, estimating, and construction management to properly sequence the work, assess durations, and enhance the overall
quality and accuracy of the plan.
* Utilize resource loading to coordinate the project's earned value system with schedule updates.
* Develop EPCMQV detail schedule with a minimum of supervision.
* Create and maintain schedules in Microsoft Project and P6.
* Understanding of building construction, timelines, and practices.
* Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
* Help mentor younger schedulers.

EDCUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Master's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or government documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present
information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the public.
Mathematical Ability: Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Software Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera P6
