Job Description:

Spencer Ogden is looking for schedulers that are accustomed to traveling contract positions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10-15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in P6 scheduling.
  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or business administration, preferably with a technical focus.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Primavera P6 and a solid background in project management and planning systems.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent spoken and written English; familiarity with SAP, MS Office, and MS Project is a must.
  • Team Spirit: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Leadership Qualities: Assertive with a strong willingness to take responsibility and drive projects forward.
  • Travel Ready: Enthusiastic about business travel and open to longer stays abroad, with a commitment to regular travel to various US job sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Charge: Take ownership of EPC project planning for both proposal and execution phases, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Innovate and Develop: Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, progress tracking, and cost structures that enhance project efficiency.
  • Monitor and Adjust: Continuously assess project performance, collaborating with lead engineers across all disciplines, procurement, subcontracting, construction, and commissioning to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inspire and Guide: Serve as the project team lead with global responsibility for Project Controls, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Proactively Identify Risks: Conduct scheduling forecasts with deviation analysis to proactively address potential project risks.
  • Communicate Effectively: Build strong relationships with project management, technical and commercial departments, partners, and clients through clear and open communication.
  • On-Site Leadership: Oversee scheduling, progress, and cost planning at job sites while managing and supervising construction contractors.
  • Deliver Insights: Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to management and clients, showcasing our progress and achievements.
