An exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team working on one of the largest Disaster Recovery Programs in the United States. You will be part of an expert team working with local communities across the US Virgin Islands, supporting the Office of Disaster Recovery in building safe, resilient & thriving communities by completing key recovery projects to transform and strengthen the Territory's infrastructure.
Our Program management team is looking for a Senior Scheduling Manager to relocate to either St. Thomas or St. Croix in support the delivery of a multi-billion dollar disaster recovery program. This role will be reporting to the program controls lead with a focus on developing and implementing process & procedures to manage the overall program and project schedules. You'll be working with the programs senior project managers to identify project requirements and building a team of specialists construction schedulers to support and monitor project delivery.
Responsibilities
Grows and manages the program scheduling team.
Manages the Program & Project schedule updates with the Project Delivery Team and updates the project and Program CPs.
Works with the Project delivery team to effectively manage the projects.
Reviews Time Impact Analysis submissions and as needed develops Time Impact Analysis.
Develops schedule and cost loaded reports for budget forecasting and for project/program tracking.
Develops schedule updates for Executive and Program level presentations.
Coordinates between project controls functions: estimating, planning/scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
Reviews contractor's and consultant's baseline schedules.
Communicates complex scheduling information to varied audiences including engineering, program/construction management, and project teams.
Understands contracts and interprets from scheduling/project controls perspective.
Expert level user of Primavera P6, previous experience in resource and cost loading P6 schedules, recording cost actuals and setting up time periods in P6.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or related technical field
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the construction and/or engineering field with increasing responsibility
Experience managing scheduling on large programs with budgets exceeding $1 billion
Understand the relationships between the project controls functions: estimating, planning/scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
Ability to understand contracts and interpret from scheduling/project controls perspective
Expert level user of Primavera P6
Experience in resource and cost loading P6 schedules, recording cost actuals and setting up time periods in P6
Experienced reviewing and approving contractor's and consultant's baseline schedules
Display a clear and analytical approach to problem solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to effectively communicate complex scheduling information to varied audiences including engineering, project/construction management, and project teams
Willing and able to relocate to the US Virgin Islands of St. Croix or St. Thomas - relocation will be offered
