Senior Scientific Director, Promotional Medical CommunicationsA leading medical communications company experiencing growth within its promotional medical communications division is looking for a senior scientific director to lead key accounts, grow and mentor the scientific team, and provide strategic account oversight. Opportunity to help shape department and grow promotional team and business. Current therapeutic focus spans oncology, respiratory, and transplant.Individuals must have strong work experience in promotional medical communications, directing client strategy, staff mentoring / management with the ability to lead scientific team in content creation and partner with our VPs / SVPs in business development.Responsibilities:Manage and grow scientific team responsible for delivery of a full range of strategic promotional medical communications / Peer-to-peer programsEnsure the creation of high quality, accurate medical / scientific content with ability to expand management responsibilities as team growsEmbed team with clients / accounts and grow business beyond current stateIdentify and develop strategic and tactical business recommendations relevant to client strategy and marketplace needsDevelop / lead / facilitate key strategy workshopsDemonstrate a high level of comfort articulating scientific and therapeutic information for multiple clients / therapeutic categoriesFoster innovative and collaboration across Nucleus Global to position agency as leader in promotional medical communicationsAdditional Requirements:PhD, PharmD, MD with 8+ years of experience of relevant medical communications experience, with an in-depth understanding of promotional medical communicationsTrack record of successful scientific leadership across several clients/therapeutic categoriesUS and / or global launch experienceOncology experience a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience managing staff / direct reportsIn addition to a competitive package, we are known for our friendly and informal working environment.
