Overview:

The Senior Search Engine Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing search marketing campaigns that generate strong business results. Acting as an internal consultant, this role collaborates with various team and dept. members to provide strategic guidance and manage SEM initiatives. You'll will work closely with senior stakeholders, analyzing performance metrics, and offering optimization strategies to drive business outcomes.

Hourly pay range: $50 - $60/hr, paid weekly, and health benefits eligible.

Duration: 7 - 12 months expected.

Senior Search Engine Marketing Specialist Duties:

  • Lead and manage search marketing campaigns from planning to execution, ensuring all aspects are optimized for performance.
  • Develop and implement strategic SEM plans to support business objectives.
  • Manage financial aspects of SEM programs, including budget forecasting and reconciliation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, delivering presentations and performance insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure campaign alignment and effectiveness.
  • Analyze campaign performance data, identify key insights, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
  • Ensure all campaigns adhere to company guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing across teams.

Senior Search Engine Marketing Specialist Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale SEM campaigns, ideally in an agency or high-demand environment.
  • Proven expertise in using Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms, with experience in other platforms (Amazon, Facebook, Pinterest) as a plus.
  • Proficiency in third-party tools (SA 360, Adobe, Marin) and Google Ads certification.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently and in teams.
