- High School Diploma required.
- Proficient in the use of technology including Microsoft software programs, Google applications, accounting software, and Outlook email system.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience as an administrative professional preferred.
- Experience in accounting procedures preferred.
- State of Delaware FSF financial program experience preferred.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Works to create a welcoming and friendly environment in the school offices.
- Support the daily function of the high school office.
- Performs office routines such as typing, telephoning, recording and retrieving data, filing, record keeping, organizing and duplicating materials.
- Supports all financial responsibilities of the school and utilizes the FSF financial system.
- Generates building supply orders and accounts payable.
- Reconciles all employee leave and substitute teachers within the school.
- Directly supports the school principal and administration.
- Maintains all materials and equipment.
- Maintains student education records as required.
- Completes all tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintains confidentiality in all respects.
- Communicates with parents to relay information from teachers and receive messages.
- Communicates professionally and regularly with all members of the school community.
- Serves as part of team of administrative professionals to support the building operation.
- All other duties as assigned.
Terms of Employment: Twelve (12) month year. Salary and Benefits: Salary range and benefits are commensurate with qualifications and experience in accordance with Board of Education Policy. Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation of classified personnel.
