The overall purpose of this position is to assure smooth operation and communication within the Division of Teacher Residency and Education. It is the first point of contact for current and prospective students and a resource for faculty members. The Senior Secretary monitors all processes to ensure appropriate documentation, steps, and guidelines are followed - including preparation of required reporting documents, maintaining databases for advisement of students, maintaining and entering University databases, ensuring course scheduling is accurate within the University systems, tracking and recording budget requests and expenditures, maintaining and ordering division supplies, and scheduling meetings and other duties as requested.

Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with Banner Software and working with a diverse population.
