We are hiring immediately for a Senior Sepsis Consultant to join the UTHealth McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics in Houston, TX 77030. In this role, you will be supporting the UT-Most (Managing and Optimizing Sepsis Treatment) for the UT-Health Intelligence Platform. The ideal candidate for this position will have ED or ICU clinical experience, quality analytics/informatics, and performance improvement.

Position Summary:
The Sr. Sepsis Consultant, University of Texas System Health Intelligence Platform (UT-HIP), is responsible for successful implementation and ongoing quality improvement initiatives focused on optimizing patient care and helping clinicians, hospitals, and health systems in efforts to improve the hospital management and outcomes of sepsis. As a leader for UT-HIP, the Sr. Sepsis Consultant collaborates with chief quality officers, and other quality improvement specialists including physicians, nurses, hospital quality directors, analysts, and other healthcare professionals to outline structural and procedural components that are associated with the multidisciplinary expertise required to support the care of patients with sepsis. The Sr. Sepsis Consultant facilitates effective communication and collaboration between all Health Related Institutions (HRIs) engaged with UT-HIP.
