BAE Systems is seeking an experienced senior manager to support the Combat System Services contract as Senior Site Manager. The selected candidate will:

* Coordinate mission support with both AEGIS and SSDS Site Managers in the day-to-day performance of site support to include workforce assignments and equipment allocation

* Coordinate technical event preplanning and execution, including scheduling and de-confliction of correct baseline and support equipment. Ensure associated documentation includes top-level test plans, training plans, operations plans, Operations Security (OPSEC) plans, Operational Safety Directives (OSDs), data collection plans, project support plans, and environmental studies.

* Oversee setup for mission events while coordinating with customers and Combat Systems and Operations departments to: Identify equipment and computer program configuration; Oversee systematic takedown upon completion of mission events; Obtain post-event critique from customers and update site-scheduling database.

* In event of equipment or element casualties, ensure appropriate corrective action, or if workaround is required, coordinate with the Government, provide recommendation, and obtain approval prior to implementation.

* Evaluate proposed changes for suitability, implementation requirements, impact on events, network/switching requirements, and resource availability.

* Support the Program Management Office (PMO) on all efforts related to contract compliance, financial tracking, customer relationship management and other related corporate business activities

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

High School Diploma and at least Twenty (20) years of combined experience with AEGIS and SSDS Mk2 combat systems (or other Navy combat systems) management. Experience in all facets of programmatic management related to combat systems engineering, readiness, training, and operations, including responsibility for managing technical performance, reliability, maintainability, cost, schedule, and delivery requirements.

Additional skills/experience required includes:

* Directing maintenance staff, programs and schedules on Combat Systems equipment and systems

* Building and reviewing test plans and maintenance plans

* Overseeing and reporting on the activation and integration of new systems

* Coordinating and reporting on high-level system troubleshooting efforts

* Impeccable technical writing and oral presentation skills

* Experience scheduling and facilitating technical meetings

* Root Cause Analysis

Security clearance requirement: This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance. The selected candidate will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until at least an interim Secret clearance is granted.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $102200 - $173700

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
