Job Description:
Position SummarySr site Manager responsible for managing large complex projects within Vanderlande.Management
  • Lead and manage on-site installation team on large and complex projects according to C05 process.
  • Draw up the project installation plan containing objectives, organization, planning, and cost calculations in consultation with the Project Manager.
  • Monitor and manage quality, time, costs, and provision of information.
  • Identify and analyze (potential) problems/risks and opportunities, initiating adequate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage the interaction of site work with all stakeholders.
  • Recognize and report opportunities.
  • Advise and manage the contracts of all subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement new methods/techniques, tools, and practices.
  • Provide proper reporting to customer, PM, and head office.
  • Coach lower-level site managers and supervisors.
  • Enter new or running projects in all stages.Job Requirements
    • Knowledge of Vanderlande equipment and systems.
    • Safety awareness for the assigned scope.
    • Knowledge of all necessary software.
    • Contract management and team leadership.
    • Project planning and site organization.
    • International and multicultural awareness.
    • Continuous improvement.
    • 3-7 years in the MHE industry managing site-based construction.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Four-year college degree in a technical field.
      • Material handling system experience.
      • Logistical management experience.
      • OSHA Certification.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
