Position SummarySr site Manager responsible for managing large complex projects within Vanderlande.Management
- Lead and manage on-site installation team on large and complex projects according to C05 process.
- Draw up the project installation plan containing objectives, organization, planning, and cost calculations in consultation with the Project Manager.
- Monitor and manage quality, time, costs, and provision of information.
- Identify and analyze (potential) problems/risks and opportunities, initiating adequate corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage the interaction of site work with all stakeholders.
- Recognize and report opportunities.
- Advise and manage the contracts of all subcontractors and suppliers.
- Develop and implement new methods/techniques, tools, and practices.
- Provide proper reporting to customer, PM, and head office.
- Coach lower-level site managers and supervisors.
- Enter new or running projects in all stages.Job Requirements
- Knowledge of Vanderlande equipment and systems.
- Safety awareness for the assigned scope.
- Knowledge of all necessary software.
- Contract management and team leadership.
- Project planning and site organization.
- International and multicultural awareness.
- Continuous improvement.
- 3-7 years in the MHE industry managing site-based construction.Preferred Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree in a technical field.
- Material handling system experience.
- Logistical management experience.
