What You'll Do
- Help build and establish our entire core SRE function
- Design and implement highly scalable and reliable systems
- Partner internally with CTO and the other engineers to improve performance, scalability, reliability and observability of our infrastructure
- Deliver improvements to our infrastructure and internal tooling while also establishing best security practices across the team
- Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement proactively
- Aid in building our engineering organization
About You
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- Experience building platform and infrastructure services from scratch, while being resourceful in a constrained resource environment
- Experience writing automation scripts in a modern language, such as Python
- Proactive learner and strong design to stay up to date with the latest advancements in software engineering
- A strong foundation in computer science principles
- Previous work in an AWS-driven environment and exposure to the full end-to-end product development lifecycle
- Strong understanding of modern SDLC best practices
- Ability to be on-call as needed and establish general on-call schedule for the engineering team
