Our company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect with extensive experience in the Microsoft tech stack to join our team. As a Senior Software Architect, you will be responsible for reviewing our existing source code, database architecture, design patterns, and the tools we use for software development. You will identify bottlenecks, suggest architectural enhancements, and oversee changes that will help our systems scale effectively to meet growing demands.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough reviews of current software architecture, source code, and database designs.Identify and diagnose performance bottlenecks in the current systems.Provide recommendations for scaling the system architecture, improving efficiency, and enhancing performance.Lead the design and implementation of architectural improvements.Collaborate with the development team to integrate changes into production, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Evaluate the tools and technologies currently in use and recommend alternatives or optimizations where necessary.Ensure all solutions adhere to best practices in software design, security, and scalability.Mentor and provide technical guidance to the development team.Requirements
7+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a focus on scalability and performance.Expertise in the Microsoft tech stack, including:SQL Server (database design, query optimization, and performance tuning)SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)C#/.NET Framework/Core/Angular/React Native/MVCStrong understanding of software design patterns, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs.Experience with performance profiling, troubleshooting, and optimization techniques.Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on pragmatic and scalable solutions.Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred
Experience working with DevOps and Continuous Integration/Development pipelines.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.What is the work environment?
