These are engineers who work to deeply understand all aspects of the business problem they're solving in order to build better software, faster. The problems that we are solving at Maybern involve a massive amount of business logic complexity. In order to be successful in this role, you'll need to weigh in on the product roadmap while driving technical decisions. You'll also need a track record of building strong cross functional relationships. As an early engineering hire, you will be building our core software from the ground up.What You'll Do
- Architect, scope, and build core parts of our system from the ground up.
- Work closely with problem experts to design elegant, flexible solutions that solve our early clients' problems while being forward thinking about future usecases.
- Build, test, and deploy software in a continuous manner.

This Could Be a Great Fit If You...
- Have 5+ years of experience building and shipping intuitive and performant component-based user interfaces
- Have extensive knowledge of Typescript/JavaScript, especially best practices
- Have experience with one of the following Javascript frameworks is desired: Angular, React, Ember. React preferred
- Have experience with testing frameworks like Jest and Storybook
- Have experience working with designers and implementing a design system to specification
- Are obsessed with details and excited to get into the weeds
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Care about performance and take great satisfaction in getting every bit of speed out of the front-end that you can
- Worked at an early stage startup
- Desire to be in the office 4-5 days a week to maximize collaboration.
