Joining our team as a Software Engineer, you will apply your experience with technology to creatively push the boundaries of what s possible for our internal teams, elevating Justworks technological foundation.Collaborate with a cross-functional team to find solutions to customer challengesTake ownership of designing and developing functionalities that are exposed via webPromote engineering excellence through technical leadership, knowledge-sharing and mentorshipAdd capabilities to our high-volume, fault-tolerant processing infrastructureImplement internal servicesResponsible for instrumenting the product-led growth tech stack.Enhance our testing, monitoring and continuous deployment infrastructureKeep extremely sensitive data compartmentalized and securePerform other related duties as assignedHow You Will Do Your WorkAs a Senior Software Engineer, how results are achieved is paramount for your success and ultimately result in our success as an organization. QualificationsMinimum of 6 years of professional hands-on experienceExpertise in large-scale either Java/Kotlin on spring or Ruby on Rails or JavaScript/React applicationsStrong object-oriented design and coding skillsSolid understanding of data structures and algorithmsExperience building new feature from scratch, using clean, organized, and scalable codeExperience supporting other engineers and acting as a tech lead Experience working with complicated systems at scaleExperience working with service-oriented architecturesExperience working using Agile/Scrum methodology in a fast-paced environmentExperience in a high-growth environment working with deadlines and milestonesTechnologies UsedGraphQL, React Native, Java/Kotlin, Ruby on Rails, Javascript/React, Redux, MySQL, AWS, GitElasticSearch, Docker, InfluxDB, Redshift, CircleCI, DataDogThe base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $167,500.00 to $205,000.00 per year.#LI-AJ1#LI-HybridActual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
