Then please continue reading!ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain production level models to monitor critical datasets and engineering services in streaming and batch; informing end user customer experience and insights into the health of our applications, products and offeringsBuild and experiment new model frameworks, machine learning approaches and artificial intelligence best practices from research through production rollout including continuous optimization and orchestrationCreate and deploy scalable API endpoints to provide predictive scores and explainability feedback to other applications, engineering processes and teamServe as a technical leader on the team, providing mentorship and technical best practices to more junior members.Understand engineering infrastructure and business processes that power critical systems, applications and streaming infrastructureCollaborate cross-functionally with various teams and verticals, to identify opportunities, business requirements and a path to technical implementationDiscover opportunities for innovation and improvements across the entire engineering spaceBasic Qualifications5+ years of experiencePython, Spark, or Pyspark is requiredHigh familiarity with data platforms and applications such as Databricks, Jupyter, Snowflake, Redshift, AirflowApplied experience of frameworks like PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow, etcExperience operating in an SDLC environment and deploying production engineering models and codeExceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, able to concisely synthesize complex technical informationStrong analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot issues, perform rapid iteration and quickly come-up with the possible solutions, effectively communicating these to technical and executive audiences across the organizationExperience with Agile methodologies and using tools such as Jira to track and perform ceremoniesBachelors degree in computer science or relevant filed.Preferred QualificationsExperience leading best practices and technical implementations at production scale for a software engineering team.Familiarity with data platforms and infrastructure such as MySQL, Datadog, ConvivaKnowledge of API design and microservices architectureExperience in the streaming industry, knowledge of client and server side architecture is a plusThe hiring range for this position in New York City and Seattle, Washington is $142,600 - $191,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
