The firm's Austin office, serves as a hub for innovation, focusing on quantitative research, software, and hardware engineering. They have well established offices in New York and Chicago and is looking to expand to Austin location.

About the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer at this leading global trading firm, individuals will spearhead major technical projects, shape the future of trading infrastructure, and serve as mentors within the organization. Responsibilities:

• Define the vision and technical strategy for major projects.
• Design, develop, support, and maintain key components of the trading infrastructure.
• Contribute to the firm's technology stack, including pricing, research, and trading models from inception to deployment.
• Ensure that new and existing programs adhere to coding, architectural, and operational standards.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of trading and exchanges.
• Collaborate closely with traders, engineers, and researchers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading large-scale projects.
• Bachelors in Computer Science from top universities/computer science degree programs. Strong engineering skills and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, Java or Linux is preferred.
• 5 -10 years of of professional experience!
• Innovative thinking grounded in practical, real-world application.
• Eagerness to continuously evolve in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to set technical direction, uphold engineering principles, and make sound decisions.
