We have a ton of interesting problems to solve around scaling web applications, linking messy heterogeneous data sets, machine learning, NLP, distributed systems, data pipelines, data analytics and predictions, system reliability, security, privacy, and more. You'll play a key role in solving these problems by architecting systems that are secure, scalable, and maintainable. This role is primarily backend-focused, but all Engineers at Nayya are expected to be full-stack as necessary. Responsibilities:Design and build new features for our core productsCollaborate closely with product and commercial to continuously innovate on Nayya productsBuild products that scale with our rapidly growing user-baseMaintain and monitor application infrastructure and qualityImprove existing applications' functionality, speed, and reliabilityWork with other Nayya employees to find new product opportunitiesBe a part of the decision-making process as it relates to scaling the company and our productsProvide technical expertise to promote business development effortsWhat You'll Bring:5+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend systemsStrong proficiency with modern, object-oriented languages and frameworks (Node.js, Python, etc)Experience with designing and building scalable, high-performance APIs and servicesExperience with AWS, relational databases, REST APIs, MVC Architecture, and OOP principlesDeep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and system design principlesExperience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools+1 for Nest.js experienceThe salary range for New York based candidates for this role is $155,000-$175,000. We use a location factor to adjust this range for candidates that are located outside of geographic region of our New York office.
