LHH is partnering with a long-time client to find an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join their team in Clackamas County, Oregon! HYBRID OPPORTUNITY
Qualifications:
- Unix/Linux Expertise: Deep familiarity with Unix command line, RedHat- and Debian-based Linux servers, and Bash shell scripting.
- API and Middleware Skills: Proficient in creating and managing APIs and web services, with the ability to migrate data from legacy systems to modern platforms.
- Web Development Knowledge: Skilled in PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, and Git, with a good grasp of web development concepts.
- Pick Programming: Experience with or willingness to learn JBASE PICK programming.
- Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role, with a preference for those with over 10 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Unix/Linux Management: Oversee and enhance Linux server operations, ensuring efficient script interactions.
- API Development: Create and maintain APIs and middleware to support data integration and modernization efforts.
- Support IT Architect: Serve as the IT Architect's primary support, aiding in the implementation of Mulesoft/Salesforce to update the environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with PHP and Pick programmers, providing backend support and ensuring smooth integration with web services.
