About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use): 10

We are seeking a dedicated full stack senior software engineer with at least 5 years of development and extensive React experience to join us. You will work as part of a team to design and develop high-quality software solutions for web applications and mobile apps using React.

As a full stack senior software engineer, you will implement new features and maintain existing code using React on the front end with a C# back end. Your duties will include designing software solutions to meet project requirements, maintaining and refactoring existing code, and writing tests.

A Successful Senior Software Engineer Will:

  • Maintain existing React systems, including fixing bugs.

  • Design and develop new custom components to meet project requirements.

  • Work within a cloud-native architecture, specifically Google Cloud Platform.

  • Collaborate with other developers and software engineers to develop front-end and back-end architecture that's well structured and flexible, along with the APIs to support it.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of software development or software engineer experience with extensive background with React.

  • Proficient with the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript) as well as HTML and CSS.

  • Experience in architecting and development of front end applications.

  • Knowledge of React and common tools used in the wider React ecosystem, such as Node.js and npm.

  • Experience with React Queries, Redux, IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript.

  • Knowledge of C#, .NET, cloud architecture (Google Cloud preferred) is required.

  • An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

  • S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $77,400 to $160,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.

  • In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Where you will be:

This position is based in our New York headquarters. We work a hybrid work schedule with a current minimum of two teamwide designated days in the office.

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Generally, work is performed Monday through Friday, though holidays and weekends may be required.
