Relate Search is representing a client in the Oil & Gas industry in their search for a Senior Integration Software Engineer. This individual is integral to the design, implementation, and ongoing support of data integrations and internal applications that power our client's organization. Responsibilities include driving customer satisfaction, managing relationships with internal stakeholders, and ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of application solutions and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage integration solutions that support business needs.
- Partner with IT teams to design, develop, and enhance applications and integration functions.
- Help shape the strategic direction for integration technologies within the company.
- Oversee security for integration applications in alignment with IT security policies.
- Participate in all stages of testing for new projects and application updates.
- Identify and resolve integration-related technical issues.
- Work closely with external partners and vendors.
- Manage and address help desk tickets via ServiceNow or other platforms.
- Provide support during scheduled maintenance and disaster recovery exercises.
- Engage in team initiatives, such as developing how-to guides and mapping data flows.
- Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders and consistently deliver high-quality service.
- Maintain and update documentation for integration solutions and workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years in technical roles, advancing to architecture-level responsibilities within IT or consulting environments.
- 5+ years of expertise with programming languages like Python, Java, C#, or similar.
- 5+ years working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and familiarity with tools like TOAD.
- Proficiency in designing cloud-based data systems using ETL/ELT and cloud warehouse platforms (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Azure, Delta Lake).
- Skilled with integration platforms and tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Logic Apps, sFTP, SSIS, and/or ODI.
- Ability to learn and adopt new development tools that streamline the software lifecycle.
- Advanced experience in establishing secure architectures for custom applications.
- Experience with developing, automating, and supporting data and system integrations specifically in Oil and Gas.
