Senior Software Engineer

Location: Brooklyn (Hybrid / 4 days on-site)

Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000 + equity

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of a dynamic web application, shaping its architecture and technology stack.
• Work closely with co-founders to align technical solutions with strategic business objectives.
• Play a key role in defining the product roadmap and contributing to overall business strategy.
• Ensure applications scale effectively and deliver high performance as user demand increases.
• Solve complex technical challenges, including migrating offline/internal software to a web-based platform and integrating third-party services.
• Mentor and potentially hire junior engineers, building a high-performing team as the company grows.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong proficiency in React (or a similar modern web framework), Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
