We are well-funded and have engineering offices in New York City, Toronto, and Vancouver. We are looking for exceptional Software Engineers to work across the stack - from frontend to backend to services - to build products that delight our users. Responsibilities:

  • Work with leadership and Product Management to develop features that truly elevate the experience of our users and improve their efficiency.
  • Lead/participate in activities that improve Owl's code excellence.
  • Own features/systems entirely across the stack.
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field.
  • Strong foundation of computer science and algorithms.
  • 3-6 years of experience as a generalist Software Engineer.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Experience in solving complex problems and comparing alternative solutions, tradeoffs, and diverse points of view to determine a path forward.
  • Ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to technical and non-technical peers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Python and Typescript experience in production.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Experience in utilizing Generative AI technology.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $230,000 Our salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canadian locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, location, and relevant education or training.
