You will also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other application and platform engineering teams, and product, design and support partners. If you love solving challenging data query/intelligence problems and if you're just as passionate about vital customer experiences as you are about the way data is structured and handled, this is the role for you.This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any location in the United States.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Clari Engineering teamsShape future proof interfaces that are easy to build against and meet the requirements of client-facing teamsBrainstorm with Product Managers, Designers, Frontend Engineers, and other cross-functional partners to conceptualize and build new features for our growing user baseProduce high-quality results by leading or contributing heavily to large cross-functional projects that have a significant impact on the businessDebug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack, and uplevel the observability and reliability of the overall systemImprove engineering standards, tooling, and processesQualifications5+ years of experience building impactful large-scale products or systems using Java or a similar object-oriented languageFull stack experience (Javascript, React, ReTool) is a plusSolid understanding of distributed systems, data stores, data modeling, OO modeling, indexing, and associated trade-offsAre skilled in working across engineering teams in building technical architecture and design alignment, driving decision making, and communicating transparentlyCross-team communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineersSkilled at debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stackHave an understanding of abstraction by interfaceDependency Injection knowledge and understanding is a plusPerks and Benefits @ ClariRemote-first with opportunities to work and celebrate in personMedical, dental, vision, short & long-term disability, Life insurance, and EAPMental health support provided by Modern HealthPre-IPO stock optionsWell-being and professional development stipendsRetirement 401(k) plan100% paid parental leave, plus fertility and family planning support provided by MavenDiscretionary paid time off, monthly ‘take a break' days, and Focus FridaysFocus on culture: Charitable giving match, plus in-person and virtual events It is Clari's intent to pay all Clarians competitive wages and salaries that are motivational, fair, and equitable. The goal of Clari's compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees and encourage employees to stay and grow at Clari.Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to specific work location, skill set, depth of experience, education and certifications.The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $220,000.
