About the Role

We're hiring a Simulation Infrastructure Software Engineer. In this role, you'll work with multiple stakeholders including Product, Engineering, and Operations to develop and improve our simulation infrastructure. You'll be researching, designing and implementing solutions to enable large scale simulation for autonomous vehicle testing.

• Play an integral role on a small and focused team
• Design and implement infrastructure to enable autonomous vehicle simulation. Including:
• Large-scale distributed simulation execution
• Scenario mining & management
• Tooling for result reporting, triage & analysis
• Design and implement robot data and metrics pipelines
• Collaborate with autonomy teams to contribute to ensuring the safety of our autonomous vehicles.

We're excited about you because…

• B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science, Robotics or related technical field
• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer
• In-depth knowledge of data structures and advanced algorithms.
• Strong python programming experience
• Experience with distributed data processing
• Experience using SQL to ask pointed questions from large, semi structured data sets
• Nice to have:
• C++ experience
• SQL
• Robotics domain experience/knowledge

Compensation

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
