ECS is seeking a Senior Solutions Director to work in our Arlington, VA office. ECS is looking for a Senior Solutions Director to support a high performing account focused on IT solution delivery. As a member of a high performing account leadership team, the Senior Solutions Director will ensure multiple portfolios and workstreams deliver effective solutions following mature technology and management practices. The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading complex and high-profile projects throughout the lifecycle of capture, startup, delivery, and operations. They will also have proven examples of developing trusted relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to customers and demonstrated ability to bridge ideas between the team, customer, and peers to ensure the account and its portfolios are always planning strategically ahead for the greatest customer/mission delivery. Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership with internal team and customers to drive technical solutions, improve organizational practices, and strengthen culture
- Ability to understand, learn, and advise on new and emerging technologies, practices, and approaches at all levels. Development of actionable implementation plans, demo ready solutions, and engaging artifacts that will drive further engagement
- Share that same thought leadership across the company and with the community to discuss successes, failures, new ideas, and drive interest and discussion about approaches to solving real mission problems
- Continuously scale the organization to ensure excellent delivery and business results throughout the account. This includes building high performing teams, leading organizational improvements, and driving community development which scale our ability to deliver quality solutions
- Supporting multiple capacities throughout the business development lifecycle and delivery leadership as needed, while scaling organization to fill gaps
- Lead the organization to make use of data to improve business insights, help with operational decisions, and support performance management
- 10+ years supporting the full lifecycle of IT solutions
- 5+ years as an organizational leader with proven success delivering effective solutions
- Experience/understanding of the business of a commercial and/or federal consulting firm
- Experience hiring, managing, and growing high performing teams through good times and bad
- Confronts difficult problems in a positive and creative way
- Anticipates risks and obstacles, and develops plans for mitigation
