Pay Rate: Up to $60/hr

Must Haves:

• 6+ years' experience in Sourcing/Procurement of professional services
• Marketing, Business Dev, Financial, Consulting, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations
• Strong understanding of all aspects of sourcing and procurement – spend analytics, market research, competitive solicitation, supplier negotiations, and contract management
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to hit the ground running, work on multiple projects at one, good attitude, and attention to detail

Plusses:

• Lead experience
• Past work experience in a financial institution or bank
• CPM by ISM certification or Certified Contract Manager

Day to Day:

A large Financial Services client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Category Manager to join their Sourcing/category management team. This role will be largely self-directed to conduct requirements gathering, market research, spend analytics, sourcing events, negotiating contracts, and secure procurement of indirect items (usually services). This position will have withstanding regular meetings with the team and different parts of the business. Will also engage in the development of category strategies, contract amendments and renewals. Looking for a sharp, good attitude, fast adapting individual that can hit the ground running. Any interest in leadership or having past leadership is a huge plus and desired for this role.
