Job Title: Senior Sourcing Specialist

Duration: 6 month – 1 year contract, depending on project workload

Pay Rate: Flexible, client wants the best talent in the market!

Hours: 40 hours/week, 8am-5pm

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of experience leading strategic sourcing at a large enterprise level including managing the RFP process from start to finish, leading teams to develop RFPs and RFQs, completing market analysis to set up solicitations, negotiating pricing, etc.
• Experience using a sourcing software to track and manage sourcing activities including contract negotiations, procurement of goods, suppliers/vendor relationships, etc.
• Professional sourcing experience in construction or utilities

• Experience sourcing in the Utilities industry

Day-to-day:

Our client is looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist to support a large water distribution and treatment plant project. We are looking for someone who has a solid foundation working in the Utilities or Construction industry, as the experience will translate best in this environment. This person will be responsible for managing RFPs from start to finish. You will take ownership in the sourcing strategy, building supplier relationships, contract negotiations and redlines, writing RFPs, sourcing materials, and potentially leading a team to complete RFPs with you.

This role requires strong time management, value optimization, multitasking skills, and attention to detail. Ideally we'd be looking for someone who has experience working with Jagger e-sourcing software, but experience with other tools would be reviewed as well.
