Typical tasks include performance of Reliability Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Redundancy Implementation Trade Analysis, Availability Analysis, Maintainability Analysis, FRACAS and Sustainment Activities.Essential Functions:Generate Reliability Plans and ProceduresInterpret and allocate reliability/availability requirementsPerform Reliability, Maintainability, Availability AnalysesConduct Reliability and Availability Redundancy TradesPerform sparing analysis in support of availability requirements and sustainment activitiesKnowledge of mechanical reliability concepts and equationsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously during development and production stagesFMEA and FMECA AnalysesSupport FRACAS activitiesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.6+ years' experience with MIL-HDBK-217F, Telcordia, MIL-STD-1629A and MIL-HDBK-1547A6 + years' experience with Prediction software tools like PTC Windchill Quality Solutions or Relyance.Must have experience and be competent with Microsoft office tools.Preferred Additional Skills:Experience with Availability Workbench is a plusBuilding of component level failure rate modelsGround, Aerospace or Defense/Government program experienceProficient with predictions, FMECA, ESA, RMA and FTA analysisAbility to complete assignments with minimal supervisionExperience with reliability demonstration testing, thermal cycling, burn-in and vibrationTeam player able to work in small or large team environments and have strong written and communications skillsPossession of a security clearance or the ability to obtain oneIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York City is $102,000 - $190,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
