Post Senior Staff Accountant Job Category: Finance Requisition Number: SENIO001243 Posting Details Posted: December 20, 2024 Full-Time On-site Locations Showing 1 location Bradford, PA 16701, USA Job Details Description PRIMARY DUTIES: (Can include - but not all Staff Accountants would be assigned to same duties) Corporate Consolidations - load and tie-out monthly subsidiary consolidation models including intercompany eliminations and multiple currency translations. Financial reporting - monthly financial statement creation, independently create consolidated and individual subsidiary financial statements and supporting reports. Share in monthly financial statement review and analysis. Directly responsible for Mfg/SG&A analysis and reporting. Assist with subsidiary financial narratives. Maintain assigned general ledger account reconciliations. Subsidiary Activity - process/coordinate all related intercompany general journals. Assist with external Audit coordination - maintain cash receipt/disbursement, inventory and payroll documentation as required by SAS 104-111. Assist with coordinating and maintaining audit schedules. Bond Accounting - prepare monthly reconciliations. Establish Standard Costs, analyze production variances and analyze gross margins on current and new products. Activity Based Cost/Management - member of ABC/M team, focusing on either Mfg or SG & A. Responsible for maintaining associated ABC models and ensuring timely completion of related ABC/M profitability reports and analysis. Operations Oversight - Accounts Payable function - liaison between A/P and Purchasing. Sales/Use tax review/audit coordination. Monthly A/P ledger close oversight. Review/approve all A/P related reconciliations. Assist in performing daily banking activities. Capital Asset expenditure tracking and calculation of depreciation/amortization. Gainshare monthly and weekly calculations. Provide coaching and guidance to other staff accountants on more complex situations. Assist with training new staff accountants, or current staff accountants on new tasks and responsibilities. Act as the primary backup for the Manager of Financial Accounting, when requested to do so. Perform any other duties, related in nature, which may be assigned. EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS: For Financial Accounting, a Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance, preferred 10-15 years of accounting experience required MBA or Masters in Accounting preferred CPA/CMA not required but preferred Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required Knowledge of AX/D365 operating system a plus **This position is full on-site in Bradford, PA with flexibility for occasional hybrid work.** Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
