This role presents an exceptional opportunity to impact our organization's financial and technological direction.Here's just some of what you'll do:Lead and expand a team of specialized data engineers and data analysts focused on the development and enhancement of infrastructure cost modelsDrive the analysis of data to attribute infrastructure resource consumption to specific business drivers, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-makingCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing guidance and expertise on data analysis methodologies and best practicesApply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from complex datasets related to infrastructure resource consumptionLead the development of predictive models to forecast infrastructure resource needs based on historical data and projected business growth, contributing to long-term planning and optimization effortsDesign and develop comprehensive dashboards and reports to visualize key findings, effectively communicating complex information to stakeholders at all levelsEvaluate the performance of data models and algorithms on an ongoing basis, identifying areas for improvement and driving iterative enhancements to ensure optimal accuracy and efficiencyStay updated on industry trends and advancements in data science and infrastructure technology, proactively incorporating innovative methodologies and tools into the organization's practicesStrategize and implement advanced methodologies and tools to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of cost attribution across various technology platformsDrive the continuous improvement of cost modeling systems and processes, ensuring they remain aligned with evolving business needs and technological advancementsAssume product owner responsibilities for the cost allocation model, prioritizing feature development, managing roadmaps, and ensuring deliverables meet the highest standards and apply industry best practicesServe as the key liaison to executive stakeholders across Technology, Finance, and Business Unit portfolio leadership, effectively communicating the strategic benefits, impact and value of the cost allocation modelCollaborate closely with Finance and Global Supply Management teams to ensure alignment of Infrastructure spending with strategic business objectives and consistent correlation to the delivery of business valueLeverage your expertise in SQL, relational database technologies, and enterprise infrastructure to guide the team's work and ensure the model's accuracy and relevanceOversee the integration and utilization of financial management software like ApptioOne and TBM Studio, tailoring them to meet specific organizational needsDrive innovation within the team by encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies for data analysis and model developmentEnsure the team's outputs, including data visualizations and reports, are of high quality and provide clear insights to inform strategic decisionsProvide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development and contributing to the overall success of the data science practice area within the Global Infrastructure organizationQualificationsAre you up for the challenge? Here's what you should have:Significant experience working in a data science role, with a proven track record of success in applying advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business problemsExpert proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, as well as in-depth knowledge of data manipulation and analysis techniquesExtensive experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or matplotlib, and proficiency in SQL and relational databases for data querying and manipulationDeep understanding of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms and data modeling concepts, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutionsExceptional problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability, with a demonstrated aptitude for driving innovation and delivering impactful results in a dynamic environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and levels of the organizationStrong leadership capabilities, with experience leading projects or teams and a passion for mentoring and developing junior talentDetail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work and a continuous learning mindset with a desire to stay at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies in the field of data science and infrastructureExperience with cloud platforms (e.g.: AWS, Azure, GCP) and Big Data technologies (e.g.: Hadoop, Spark) is a plusBachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field a plusQualificationsSalary Range: $170,000.00 to $255,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
