Participates in the development and implementation of high-performance, high-availability, and enterprise-class storage strategy and data life cycle management processes.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:•Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions.•Continuously monitor storage performance and capacity, analyzing trends to forecast future needs and optimize resource allocation.•Implement and manage data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.•Collaborate with the security team to establish and enforce data security policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.•Identify and resolve storage-related issues promptly, providing support for incident management and root cause analysis.•Maintain accurate documentation of storage configurations, processes, and policies.•Work closely with other IT teams to support application and database storage requirements, contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives.•Provide guidance and mentorship to junior storage administrators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or combination of education and experience.•Five years of experience in storage administration, preferably within a financial services environment.•Strong knowledge of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).•Proficiency in storage management tools and monitoring software.•Experience with data backup and recovery solutions, including disaster recovery planning.•Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking sector.•Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employers.
