Title:Senior Store DesignerClient:Our client is a family owned multi-state convenience store chain.Description:They are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Store Designer to join their dynamic team, to work on a project basis. The role would be full time hours 8-5, working remotely (east coast business hours). 6 months, with the possibility of extension. As a Senior Store Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of retail spaces. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors & consultants to deliver high-quality, customer-driven design solutions with Brand integrity to drive business objectives. Please ask me for more details.Required:• Minimum experience in retail store design and space planning, preferably with a focus on global store layouts, 5 years.• Minimum knowledge of AutoCAD, 3 years.• Minimum experience managing people, 1 year.• Minimum of project management experience, 1 year.• Extensive knowledge of retail interiors & exteriors, and demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge in innovative ways that elevate brand excellence.• In-depth understanding of retail customer journey & how to execute solutions through this lens.• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional partners & key stakeholders including architects, marketing, store ops, real estate, category leads, procurement, vendors & construction teams.• Experience presenting design concepts to peers, managers, clients, and executive leadership. Proficient in space planning, accessibility and ergonomics, and can apply these understandings into design solutions.• Proficient in reviewing, revising and approving vendor shop drawings.Software Skills-• Expertise in AutoCAD required• Expertise in Sketchup required• Proficient in Powerpoint required• Proficient in Adobe InDesign & Photoshop preferred*Must have your own computer equipment and internet access.
