Job Description:
Role x You Senior strategists are the MVPs of a healthy strategy department. They are becoming self sufficient strategists who can handle leading conversations, developing strategies and working with creatives without significant supervision. Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Strategy Director to develop breakthrough and actionable brand and communications strategies.
  • Understand how our clients' business works and create strategies that help reach business goals.
  • Own, manage, and run brand and communications strategy on your specific account.
  • Monitor cultural trends that are relevant to the brands on which you work
  • Lead and support new business growth on the account with the account lead and other appropriate team members within VIRTUE.
  • Own planning projects from inception to completion: create research plans, develop insights, write briefs, collaborate with the creative, account and client teams, facilitate and direct brainstorming sessions, and continue to see the project through in all its phases.
  • Establish strong and collaborative relationships with key department heads and employees across the business including account, creative, analytics, and more.
  • Can play a lead role in thought leadership initiatives.
  • Always striving to make the work better.
You have these:
  • Ability to formulate a clear hypothesis and recommend methods for testing it
  • Can define interesting patterns that combine diverse references
  • Can be depended on to create briefs, decks and strategic artefacts with some oversight
  • Can craft a cogent and compelling argument in email, document, or conversation
  • Can lead strategy on at least 3 projects of varying complexity and sizes, with regular oversight and feedback coming from your manager.
  • Can support pitches and larger clients.
  • You have a voice in writing, thinking and presenting.
  • You are passionate about finding the latest cultural trends.
  • You create inspiring briefs and briefing decks.
  • You can handle client meetings on your own as appropriate.
  • You work closely with creatives throughout the process.
  • You can lead and conduct interviews as appropriate.
  • You understand business and market dynamics and how to affect them.
