Position OverviewThe Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for leading engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards, and delivering innovative structural designs. This role involves collaboration with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams to provide top-notch structural solutions that meet client specifications and project requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Develop and review structural designs, calculations, and specifications to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Collaborate closely with architects and other engineering disciplines to create integrated design solutions.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and compliance during construction phases.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns in the team.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on architectural projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural design software and tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
