Key Responsibilities:

Take-off and Documentation:

• Conduct thorough take-offs for all project components, encompassing horizontal, closet, and backbone elements.
• Diligently record take-off data in predefined spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Apply rack and stack design principles to optimize project layouts for efficient implementation.

Data Center Design and Implementation:

• Collaborate in the planning and execution of data center design and implementation projects.
• Work on the design of data center layouts, considering factors like server placement, cable routing, and power distribution.
• Ensure that data center infrastructure meets industry standards for reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency.

Proposal and RFP Preparation:

• Prepare comprehensive bid reviews, outlining cost estimates and project details.
• Maintain records of all relevant sign-offs and purchase orders to ensure meticulous documentation of project-related transactions.
• Prepare and review RFIs to submit to end users

Client and Stakeholder Interaction:

• Foster effective communication with internal operations teams, conveying precise material and labor requirements to facilitate project execution
• Engage with clients, vendors, and manufacturers to clarify project scopes, pricing, and technical specifications.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Technical Proficiency

• Proficiently read and interpret blueprints, ensuring accurate project comprehension.
• Excel in using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Microsoft Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with various estimating software and ERP systems to streamline project estimation and management.

Engineering Experience:

• Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of senior-level experience in structured cabling estimating.
• Hold an RCDD Certification, demonstrating expertise in the field.
