Hiring Department The Dean's Office of Medical Education Job Description The Senior Student Support Specialist will provide calendar and meeting administrative support for the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and the Associate Dean for Preprofessional programs. In addition, this position will provide administrative support to the Office of Community, Professional Proficiency and Student Success (CaPS) which includes pathway program execution and support and student recruitment activities. This position is a 1.0 FTE. Key Responsibilities Provide calendar and meeting support for the Associate Dean of Student Affairs and the Associate Dean for Preprofessional Programs. Assist with pathway program logistics, organization, communication, and implementation, such as, securing parking, reserving campus facilities, ordering catering, and technology needs. Monitor Pathway/Outreach web applications, revise email notifications, contact applicants and monitor pathway email accounts. Create and distribute program marketing/promotion materials. Order and maintain program and recruitment supplies. Manage Protection of Minors Youth Registry. Assist at program events, beginning with set up to tear down. Closeout program handbook, assist in compiling evaluation results and recording participation. Provide student tracking and attendance assistance for the Pathways to Success Program weekly events. Planning and coordination of recruitment events including booth acquisition, coordination of attendees and travel. Assist with other programmatic initiatives under the Office of CaPS as assigned. Shift Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
