THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION BASED IN NYC. HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE WITH REQUIRED 3 DAYS IN OFFICE.

** Salary Range: $75K-90K/Annually **

At Pet's + People we currently source over 2000 products to retailers nationwide as well as have a strong & developed ecomm business. We are currently seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to provide support to the Planning Team. This role is a great opportunity for an individual to further develop their career within Supply Chain.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure optimized distribution of products from factories to distribution centers to support fill rate.
  • Determine allocation of finished goods to distribution center based on inventory levels, demand signals, such as customer orders and sales forecasts.
  • Monitor manufacturer production plans, ensuring accurate cargo ready dates and timely deliveries.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to prioritize and adjust production plans to meet inventory needs.
  • Develop container plans that optimize load capacity and consolidate shipments to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to align container shipment plans with supply chain strategies and ensure timely, efficient execution.
  • Initiate and support inventory rebalancing between distribution centers.
  • Foster collaboration and communication among different organizational departments, including sales, production, inventory planning, and logistics.
  • Requires a high-level understanding of the trade-offs between service, inventory and costs.
  • Support the Inventory Team with ad-hoc requests or special projects.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years supply chain experience
  • Previous experience in supply chain support, logistics and operations, demand planning, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications such as Power Point and Excel
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, projects, and workload
  • Ability to learn quickly and become knowledgeable of the brands, products, and company systems/processes
