Salary: $160,000-$180,000/yr

This is a key position that oversees the Supply Chain operations for The Stellant Torrance, CA facility focusing on creating/increasing standard work and efficiency in core areas including: SIOP, Material Sales Forecasting, Training, Material Planning, Production Planning and Logistics and Warehouse Operations. This position is responsible for establishing holistic Supply Chain processes, KPIs, and driving operational excellence and discipline within the team. This position will be a key liaison to Finance, Program Management, Site Leadership and other Supply Chain department leads to communicate and roll out new and updated processes, tools and standard work.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads the introduction of standard work and training across each of the core supply chain functions.
  • Manages the SIOP process and ensures Supply Chain inputs are clear and up to date.
  • Provides sound leadership to the team and ensures excellence in performance.
  • Develops and maintains Supply Chain KPIs that are aligned to Business KPIs and measure Supply Chain performance.
  • Develops and maintains excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Develop and lead the Material Sales process to be able to consistently provide a monthly material sales forecast that supports the Supply Chain AOP commitments and Program EACs (Estimate at Complete).
  • Ensures timely and correct authorization of material orders to suppliers to facilitate timely creation and release of Purchase Orders to suppliers.
  • Improves supply chain efficiencies by automating all key supply chain processes. Implements new technologies to advance competence in supply chain development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in purchasing & supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SCM, with at least 5 years managing a team
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and how they function and support Supply Chain
  • A high level of written communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions on the go in liaison with the relevant stakeholders
  • This role requires a self-driven self-starter
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • (CIP) Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) or the Institute for Supply Management (ISM)
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
  • Infor/LN ERP System knowledge/experience
