Leader in the maritime and aerospace industry with the engineering capability to design, qualify, and manufacture unique defense and commercial aerospace customer requirements is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager. The Supply Chain Manager will have primary responsibility for providing leadership of the NY business unit's operational supply chain function, including supplier planning, tactical procurement (buying) and operational logistics. As a member of the NY leadership team and the Global Supply Chain team, the successful candidate will partner closely with the various site operational functions as well as the Global Strategic Sourcing function to ensure highly efficient supply chain execution in terms of material cost, supplier quality, supplier delivery, and purchased parts inventory for the NY business unit. - Development and implementation of efficient buying and logistics process with tight linkage to value stream planning and overarching SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning)- Collaborating with strategic sourcing to meet material productivity goals for the business unit- Tactical supplier performance management - Supplier Quality and Delivery- Purchased Parts inventory optimization- Management of operational logisticsThe company offers a 10% compensatory bonus structure.
