Lutron Electronics Company, Inc Senior Supply Chain Specialist US-PA-Coopersburg Job ID: 2024-3997 Type: Regular Full-Time # of Openings: 1 Category: Corporate Operations Corporate Headquarters OverviewLutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist on the Production Planning Team in Coopersburg.This is a key position in ensuring Lutron's global manufacturing operations align with customer demand and organizational objectives.This role involves close collaboration with various functional areas across our Global Operations and Business teams, including Manufacturing, Delivery, Distribution, Logistics, Forecasting, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Project Management, and Customer Service.ResponsibilitiesProduction Scheduling & System Management: - Utilize and maintain ERP/IBP systems to develop accurate production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory level targets, while navigating real-world constraints.Cross-Functional Communication & Strategy Execution: - Act as a link between Corporate and Manufacturing Plants by translating strategic goals into actionable production plans. - Facilitate two-way communication, ensuring that feedback flows seamlessly between Corporate and Manufacturing teams. - Collaborate with project teams to guide product launches and product transfers.Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: - Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve root causes of planning and manufacturing challenges, including backlog issues, throughput concerns, and obstacles to company initiatives. - Engage in strategic planning to align production capabilities with the company's long-term business objectives.Project Management & Process Improvement: - Lead and manage cross-functional projects to improve Production Planning processes. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplineMinimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned3+ years of experience in a Supply Chain related positionWillingness and ability to travel.
