Are you an experienced Systems Engineer looking for a project-focused role within the Azure space?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join a growing enterprise business as they migrate into the cloud.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex IT systems and infrastructure for a range of clients clients. You will leverage your technical expertise to enhance system performance, ensure security, and provide top-tier support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure systems architecture.
- Manage and monitor client IT infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive IT solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for systems configurations and processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in server and network administration (Windows and Linux environments).
- Proficient in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud services, particularly Azure, is required.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
- Solid understanding of security best practices and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
We have a base salary up to $160,000 and a hybrid working schedule (2 days a week on-site).
