Leads projects, administration, implementation and maintenance of Diebold Nixdorf's Global Protective Services physical security systems and equipment, designed to safeguard personnel, facilities, equipment, and assets. Serves as the subject matter expert on physical security systems. Ensures compliance with company policies and compliance requirements and mandates, by executing procedures and maintaining evidence with regards to security systems and equipment. Ensures systems and equipment are functioning as intended by coordinating the with internal departments and vendors. Leads projects and implementation to ensure program standards and requirements are adhered to. Responsibilities Directly oversees the management of Global Protective Services systems and equipment, including but not limited to, physical access control systems, video surveillance systems, employee identification and access cards, surveillance and detection systems, visitor management systems. Administers systems and equipment, ensuring they are functioning properly, assesses system adequacy, and recommends proposed enhancements to management. Provides continual updates to management for ongoing support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: project management, ensuring systems operation, maintenance and support; providing security system design and proposal review for changes and deployments; providing advanced system maintenance, high level technical troubleshooting, configuring, programming, training; leading system deployments and project implementation, and assess company needs. Prepares scheduled and ad hoc security system reports. Gathers data and recommends system improvements to management. Serves as the coordinating liaison across multiple internal departments and external vendors, with relation to projects, department systems and equipment, and compliance for internal and external requirements. Executes procedures, maintains evidence, and continually fosters a culture and environment in support of meeting compliance requirements. Is directly responsible for ensuring that the systems, equipment and procedures in support of requirements are operating effectively, including the supporting efforts of the security command center and contract security force. Is directly responsible for the production and maintenance of required evidence. Supports the ongoing assessment of existing requirements and the evaluation of new requirements. Collaborates with Diebold Nixdorf's cyber security and IT departments to ensure security systems function optimally, including patches, updates, upgrades, connectivity and other. Available for on-call support and response to equipment and system needs. Assists in ensuring the necessary systems, equipment and controls are in place to meet the requirements for any regulations or laws that may affect the physical security of Diebold Nixdorf workers, assets and facilities. Assists in development of security policies, procedures, standards and in communicating these in written form. Provides scheduled and periodic and ad hoc reports, gathers data and prepares recommendations. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired QualificationsEducation and Certifications Required: High School Degree / GED Preferred: Bachelor's degree; and/or combination of education and industry specific experience Professional Certification, such as: PSP (Physical Security Professional); CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor); Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) Experience Required: 5+ Years of physical security, project management, and/or IT experience. Preferred: 10+ years physical security systems and project management experience. Experience with compliance requirements and documentation. Functional / Technical Competency Requirements Required: Strong computer skills; Strong interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills; and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents and relate to all levels of personnel. Preferred: Knowledge physical security systems, including physical access control systems and video surveillance systems. Microsoft suite, including Project.
