Job Summary:
  • The ERP Technical Analyst II will support Jackson Health Systems' ERP application and other downstream systems that interface with it.
  • The Analyst will be responsible for development and maintenance in the areas of data integration, reporting, and interfaces.
  • Other systems managed by this person include, imaging for invoices, purchase requisitions and payroll related documents, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), budged, and point of use supply cabinets.
  • This position will work and cooperate with the remote hosting site, software vendors, leaders from the functional areas and other member of the IT division to ensure all technical aspects of the application are properly coordinated and functioning correctly.
  • Creativity and latitude is expected.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assumes responsibility for the performance of the ERP infrastructure, interfaces and other technical components.
  • Fully utilizes technical knowledge of the ERP databases, security, operating systems, administrative tools, environmental and third party setups to solve problems or work with the software vendor in finding solutions to problems.
  • Sets-up and maintains EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) technical tables used for reordering supplies. Monitors daily EDI transmissions with multiples parties (GHX, vendors, Omni Cells, OptiPlex, and ERP applications) to ensure the successful transmission of the data.
  • Troubleshoots, restarts and recovers failed transmissions.
  • Administers programming, setup and technical support of interfaces between the ERP applications and other Systems (within Jackson or with external parties).
  • Maintains technical and user documentation for business processes.
  • Collects and analyses data to provide recommendations for the improvement of business processes and increase efficiency while maximizing system utilization.
  • Customizes, validates, and deploys ERP components, modules and features in collaboration with third party vendors as well as business owners.
  • Supports other ERP software such as reporting and query tools such as Crystal and MS Add-ins. Checks printing software for HR/Payroll and AP; ERP Imaging System.
  • Troubleshoots, coordinates upgrades and patches fixes with Vendors.
  • Performs data mining activities to transform data gathered across different systems into useful information that drive decision making for all business groups. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Experience
  • Generally requires 3 to 5 years of related experience.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
Credentials
  • Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty.
