Additional activity will include developing the verification plans, which will require leading technical integration with our Integrated Product teams (IPTs). In this role engineers will also be supporting the verification execution for our vertical lift platforms. This will include artifact discovery, verification of evidence against design/airworthiness requirements and verification for collaborative customer reviews. Individuals will need to interface with design teams to ensure compliance to baseline system architecture. Individuals will support integration with multiple engineering disciplines within the various design IPTs and will require an ability to develop a working knowledge of multiple engineering commodities. Opportunities will be available to expose individuals to various aspects of the systems engineering process throughout the product lifecycle, beginning with concept operations, through our preliminary and critical design phases, through production and into fleet support. As a Senior Systems Engineer, the position will require individuals to lead certification strategies for both new programs and existing programs for initial airworthiness and continued airworthiness. Strong interpersonal communication skills.This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.5+ year's of experience in engineering3+ year's of experience working in a team-oriented environment with multiple engineering stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:Systems Engineering experience or educationExperience with a Requirements Management Tool (DOORS, Slate, Enovia, etc.)Experience with certification and qualification processes and procedures, including knowledge of governing regulations and compliance requirementsExperience working with US Department of Defense (DoD) customers or international Defense customers.Experience leading engineering strategies, processes or programs.Typical Education/Experience: Level 4 Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
