Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer with expertise in VMware, Windows, and Office 365 for our client, a prominent player in the Healthcare industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing, dynamic environment, contributing to innovative projects that shape the future of technology. This role is HYBRID you must be local to the area to commute 2-3 days per week. Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design & Architecture: Develop, implement, and manage virtualization and infrastructure solutions using VMware technologies.
  • Windows Administration: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of Windows servers and workstations in a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Office 365 Management: Administer and support Office 365 applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex system issues, providing expert-level support to internal teams and clients.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, and network engineering, to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong focus on VMware, Windows, and Office 365.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, vSphere), Windows Server (2016/2019), and Office 365 administration.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
